Oklahoma has now surpassed 80,000 total cumulative COVID-19 cases since the pandemic began in March.
The Oklahoma State Department of Health yesterday reported 1,089 new coronavirus cases across the state, bringing the total to 80,161.
Eight additional deaths were also reported yesterday according to health officials including one in Delaware County,a male in the 65 or older age group.
According to the health department, there have been 970 coronavirus deaths statewide.But, there have also been 66,779 Oklahomans who have recovered from the virus.
