New hotel, convention center planned for Webb City

It’s been a while since a new hotel was constructed in the area but that’s what’s happening now in Webb City.

The 75-room Webb City Sleep Inn and Inn Suites should be opening sometime in April, weather depending.

A 30,000 sq. foot convention center is planned adjacent to the hotel at East Road in Centennial Park just off Highway 171.

The structure will rest on former mining land cleaned up a number of years ago by the EPA.
