Galloway criticizes Parson’s approach to recovery after Covid-19
Missouri’s presumptive Democratic gubernatorial nominee is criticizing GOP Governor Mike Parson’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic.
State Auditor Nicole Galloway spoke during a virtual town hall last night and said, “we need to dig our way out of this. We need to help people get back to work. we need to help people stay in their homes before their basic expenses and I am concerned that for Missourians recovering from this economic crisis, it’s going to be harder here in Missouri than for neighboring states”
State health officials say there have been 13,767 confirmed COVID-19 cases, along with 786 deaths. Governor Parson says the pandemic caused the loss of 300-thousand jobs between March and April.
