Get out and vote today in Missouri
It’s election day in Missouri! And Schools play a big part on today’s ballot.
In Joplin, citizens will vote to elect 5 people to serve on the city council and will also vote on a 25 million dollar bond issue to build a new elementary school that would combine Columbia and West Central.
And Carthage has a 10 Million dollar bond extension on their ballot as well. Plus, Neosho, Carthage, Webb City, Carl Junction and other communities in the area also have elections issues to vote on.
Today’s election was originally scheduled in April but delayed because of the COVID-19 pandemic and the fear of safety delayed the vote. Workers will be wearing a mask and social destining to make sure you’re safe as you Get out and vote!
