Three Baxter Springs Residents Arrested on Drug Charges
Three people from Baxter Springs were arrested after an early morning drug raid in Cherokee County. Just before 8 a.m., deputies served a search warrant at 736 East 20th Street where they found suspected methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
38-year-old Daryn King, 42-year-old Robert Jones and 37-year-old Jessica Ashe were taken to the Cherokee County Jail on allegations of Possessing Meth, Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia. Bond for Jones and Ashe was set at $5,000.
King, who is also a registered drug offender, faces additional allegations of violating the Kansas Offender Registration Act. His bond was set at $12,500.
