Casey’s moves ahead with Joplin distribution center

Casey’s General Stores, a major convenience store chain, is moving ahead with plans to build a new distribution center in Joplin.

The corporation has filed a building permit application worth just under $44 million dollars.

The dollar amount exceeds the total of all building permit applications filed in Joplin last year.

It would be the third center for Iowa-based Caseys which operates over 2,000 stores in 16 states.
