The Joplin City Council Work Session originally slated for the evening of Monday, Sept. 14 has been canceled.
No reason was given for the cancellation.
City officials say a special meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, which will convene into a budget work session.
An additional budget work session will be held on Wednesday, September 23, with a potential third session on Thursday, September 24 if needed.
Agendas will be posted on the City of Joplin's web site in accordance with state law closer to the meeting dates.
