Get ready for Webb City's Mining Days this Saturday at King Jack Park in Webb City.
Scotty of Charlie Two Two Outdoors told NewsTalk KZRG:
"It's going to be an all day affair," Scotty says. "There are five bands playing, a car show with 80 plus vendors, boat races in the pond, dog races and a lot more."
King Jack Park is off Highway 171 near the Praying Hands statue in Webb City.
"It's a big day for us," Scotty says. "We're going to be drawing the winning ticket for a Bronco. That'll happen six p.m. on Saturday night. We want to honor the 9/11 first responders and the veterans who stepped up on that day 25 years ago."
"It's all free and everything is open to the public, Scotty adds. "There's a charge for the food trucks but everything else is free. Opening ceremonies will take place around noon. Mayor Lyn Ragsdale of Webb City is going to come and help us open up."
Events run from 10 a.m. to sunset this Saturday, September 12.
