Three Joplin residents were arrested Wednesday after police served a narcotics search warrant at a home on South Wisconsin Avenue.

Joplin police Capt. Austin Wolf said the department’s SWAT team and detectives went to 1302 S. Wisconsin Ave. following an ongoing narcotics investigation.

Police identified the suspects as Christopher Haley, 58; Sheridan Haley, 26; and Jared Pryor, 40.

Pryor was arrested on suspicion of unlawful use of a firearm, first-degree drug trafficking, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a defaced firearm. He also faces a second-degree assault charge stemming from an earlier incident in Duquesne.

Sheridan Haley was arrested on suspicion of unlawful use of a firearm, first-degree drug trafficking, introducing contraband into a jail facility and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Christopher Haley was arrested on a Joplin city warrant and on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Wolf said the state charges were submitted to the Jasper County Prosecutor’s Office.
