Absentee ballots in Missouri for the November 3rd general election will be available at your county clerk's office starting September 22nd, six weeks before the election to accommodate voters unable to attend polls.

This start date applies to all voters planning to be out of town or otherwise unable to vote in person on Election Day.

Students currently away from their home district can request absentee ballots to be sent to their location.

Voters also have the option to vote in person at your county clerk’s office if they will be away on November 3rd.

According to Jasper County Clerk Charlie Davis, “No Excuse Absentee Voting” opens October 20th at 8:30 AM and runs until November 2nd at 5:00 PM.

This allows any eligible voter to come to the Carthage Courthouse or Joplin Courts building without providing a reason.

The extended window supports increased accessibility and convenience for voters close to Election Day.
