Two people taken to hospital following E-bike-vehicle accident Monday evening

Two people were taken to the hospital after an E-bike hit a car in Pittsburg on Monday evening.

The Pittsburg Police Department says it happened just after 6 p.m. on Monday evening at 27th and Broadway in Pittsburg.

Police say a vehicle driven by 50-year-old Shelly  Perkins of Pittsburg was stopped at a red light when a southbound E-bike collided with the vehicle.

17-year-old Logan Cure and his passenger, 16-year-old Brooklyn Menchetti, were on the E-bike. 

They were taken by ambulance to a Pittsburg hospital for treatment of possible injuries.
