Joplin Senior Center remains open for lunch

The Joplin Senior Center will be open 11 a.m.- 12:30p.m. for lunch only this week.

Late last month, the Center announced it would be closed for several weeks due to a breakdown in its air conditioning system.

The part for the AC is on its way, but officials at the Center say they do not know what day it will be delivered.

Once the part arrives and repairs are completed, the senior center is expected to resume full operations and regular hours.

Please watch the Senior Center's Facebook page for updates.
