Former ESPN analyst Matt Miller charged with misdemeanor after June crash
What do you think?
Now former ESPN Draft analyst Matt Miller has been charged with a misdemeanor in connection with the crash that left him critically injured and ultimately resulted in the loss of his left arm.
Miller, 42, is charged with failure to drive on the right half of the roadway when the roadway was of sufficient width, resulting in an accident.
The charge stems from a June 17 crash on Missouri Route 96, near Oronogo.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash investigation, he was driving a Ford Bronco when his vehicle crossed the center line and entered the path of an oncoming semi-truck.
The truck driver told investigators he attempted to move to the right to avoid Miller’s vehicle before the two collided.
Miller was thrown from the Bronco and airlifted to a hospital with serious injuries.
His injuries then required the amputation of his left arm along with numerous other surgeries.
Miller has said bloodwork could establish that he was not impaired and that he was not using his phone.
Miller is scheduled to appear in court Monday, September 21.
He is still under investigation by the Missouri Attorney General’s Office for alleged mishandling of fantasy football funds.
Miller previously said he is working to repay fantasy football league winners as prosecutors look into the accusations.
