Turbine collapses at Liberty wind farm in Barton County

A massive turbine has collapsed at a Liberty Utilities wind farm in Barton County.

The company says no one was hurt, and the area was immediately secured after the turbine came down Friday.

Investigators are now working to determine what caused the failure.

The wind farm, located near Mindenmines, has been operating for several years buit its not the first time there have been issues.

Liberty Utilities says the collapse was isolated, and the remaining turbines continue operating while the investigation moves forward.
