Republic Services to Adjust City of Joplin Curbside Solid Waste Pickup Times This Week

This week’s projected high temperatures will have trash and recycling pickup crews starting earlier than normal each morning.
The City of Joplin contracts with Republic Services to provide curbside trash and recycling services to residents of the community. Republic Services has notified the City that due to forecasted extreme temperatures this week, crews will start pickup each morning at 5 a.m. This adjustment will take place Monday through Saturday, July 20-25.
All curbside trash and recycling customers within Joplin city limits should expect their garbage truck to be earlier than normal, so it’s important to get your trash out to the curb on the night before your scheduled service.
