Joplin improving trolley bus stop shelters

The city of Joplin is making upgrades to the Sunshine Lamp Trolley bus stops.

As improvements get underway, you may not be able to access benches inside a stop while work is in progress.

Bus service will continue as normal, and buses will still stop near but not right in front of shelters which are undergoing work to avoid passenger conflict with trucks, equipment, and cones. Work has started on the blue route and will then move to the red route.

If you need any additional accommodations, please reach out to dispatch at 417-626-8607.
