Hawley blasts Minnesota AG: 'You should be in jail'

A fiery exchange on Capitol Hill between Missouri US Senator Josh Hawley and Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison.
Hawley accuses Ellison of taking $10,000 in campaign donations from fraudsters and then for allegedly trying to help them from being caught
HAWLEY: "You took ten grand from them nie days after the meeting. YOU helped fraudsters defraud the state of $9B, and you got a FAT campaign contribution out of it! You ought to be INDICTED!"
"They BEGGED you to help them — and YOU AGREED TO IT! It's ALL ON TAPE."
"You said: send me the names of these folks investigating them. YOU SAID IT. 'I'll take the list, call the person at Education, and say, what's going on?!'"
"They CAME to you asking for help getting investigators off their backs!"
"Why'd you do it, why'd you help them?!"
ELLISON: "I didn't do it!"
HAWLEY: "That's not you? Is that a ventriloquist?! BS!"
He's right, Ellison MUST be held accountable!
“You’ve been right at the center of this project from the beginning, and you’ve enabled it, and you should resign,” Hawley proclaimed. “I should call you prisoner because you ought to be in jail,”
Hawley and Ellison went back and forth for about seven minutes on Thursday.
