Southwest Missouri Congressman Eric Burlison says he is pleased with a an agreement made by Former President Bill Clinton and Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to testify to the House Oversight Committee.

The House Oversight Committee, of which Burlison is a member, is advancing a detailed deposition process to clarify the Clintons’ connection to Jeffrey Epstein and support victim justice.

The committee secured agreement for a full-day deposition of Bill and Hillary Clinton under standard subpoena terms, including recording and stenography.

"This is a good win for the victims of Jeffrey Epstein," Burlison said. "Imagine you're a young girl who is being victimized by this horrible man, and then you see that he brings in Bill Clinton to his house. You see him hobnobbing with all these rich and powerful people."

Congressman Burlison emphasized the need to uncover how often Bill Clinton flew on Epstein’s plane and whether he witnessed abuse.

The inquiry targets understanding Hillary Clinton’s involvement with Epstein’s foundation and her ties to Ghislaine Maxwell post-conviction.

"We also need to get an understanding of from Hillary Clinton," Burlison added. "She benefited from this Clinton Foundation that was created, and this was the brainchild of Jeffrey Epstein, who basically pitched it, created it, and then went around the country fundraising into this slush fund that the Clintons were able to live off of."

The deposition is expected to be public, ensuring transparency to the public, though live broadcast status remains undecided.

Burlison explained that if the Clintons plead the Fifth or deny involvement, it would damage their reputations and prompt DOJ criminal referrals.
