Missouri Approves Three Addiction Recovery Schools

(Missourinet) - The Missouri State Board of Education has approved three specialized high schools for teens battling addiction. 

The State Board of Education has approved three recovery high schools in Missouri to help teens overcome substance use disorders while earning their diplomas. 

Cape Girardeau Public Schools in the southeast will sponsor one of the recovery schools. 

The non-profit organization, Vivo Missouri will operate the other two, which will be located in Kansas City and St. Louis.
