Spiva Center for the Arts to host Holiday Makers Market with local artists

Joplin, MO. — George A. Spiva Center for the Arts will host a Holiday Makers Market for the community to visit, shop, and support local artisans while getting holiday shopping checked off their lists.

HOLIDAY MAKERS MARKET

This is a two-day market!

Friday, December 5, 2025 | 5pm-8pm

Saturday, December 6, 2025 | 10am-3pm

  • Third floor inside the Harry M. Cornell Arts & Entertainment Complex

Kick off the holiday season at Spiva Center for the Arts! Come shop for one-of-a-kind, handcrafted treasures created by member artists and artisans. This festive event is a fun opportunity to find unique gifts, support local makers, and spread holiday cheer to everyone on your list this year. A wide range of artforms including jewelry, ceramics, embroidery, textiles, fiber art, paintings, leather goods, and more will be available.

“Makers Markets at Spiva are a fantastic time for member artists to sell their wares and connect with Joplin’s art community. They offer a unique opportunity for the public to discover their new favorite local artists and support them directly,” says Kearstin Mattox, Director of Engagement at Spiva Center for the Arts. “This market is the perfect place to find something truly one-of-a-kind and handmade to give your loved ones for the holidays!”
