Carl Junction work crews get roads passable quickly after storm

Storm damage in the 4 states Sunday

Carl Junction City Administrator Steve Lawver told Newstalk KZRG, crews worked hard and fast to get the roads clear.

“My public works guys did an excellent job yesterday.  in about probably an hour to 2 hours, something like that, they had pretty much the roads were pushed off and people could get around them.” 

Lawver went on to say: “People still need to be very cautious, because Liberty Utilities is still out there doing some work.  They’ve done an excellent job of getting power restored. But there’s still a lot of debris you know, and of course, with this, there’s going to be nails and screws, and that type of thing.”
