State rep Baker supports Missouri farmers on glyphosate

Glyphosate, also known as Round Up, is being attacked by trial lawyers claiming it causes cancer and should be banned for use as a weedkiller by Missouri farmers.
Neosho state representative Ben Baker tells Newstalk KZRG that farmers talking to him say:
“If you use this as you’re supposed to with the application for crops, it’s not dangerous, it’s completely safe. And, you know, I trust the farmers over trial attorneys for sure. So the future, especially with Missouri being so strong in agriculture, the future of our state with agriculture needs to be shaped by science, not by lawsuits, not by trial attorneys.
Baker believes China is possibly trying to take out a weedkiller competitor to push their products.
