“Block 22” – viable and successful for PSU students and city of Pittsburg

Block 22 has been a viable and successful operation for Pitt State students and the community since 2018 when it opened its doors.  

Block 22 is located in downtown Pittsburg at the corner of 4th and Broadway holding both businesses and student housing.

Pittsburg mayor Dawn McNay told Newstalk KZRG:

“It was a $18 million investment public and private.  It revitalized the 4 buildings on the corner and it was a Pittsburg State University led project.  3 of the buildings had student housing for upperclassmen, junior and seniors, and then on the 1st floor for retail and restaurants.”
