Jasper County voter rolls checked daily for voters that need to be removed from list

Missouri Secretary of State Denny Hoskins announced this week that over 18 thousand voters were cleaned off of Missouri voter rolls.  

Jasper County Clerk Charlie Davis told Newstalk KZRG that it’s a daily job:   

“Everyday, you know, whenever we get notification of a deceased voter, they’re removed.  If we get notification that somebody has moved out, for instance, we will constantly get mail from other states or other counties that they moved into those counties and we removed them from our voter rules. So it is something that we have to keep abreast of and it is something that we do on a daily basis.”
