Public invited to “Cultivating Change” discussion Friday evening

Finding answers to challenges posed by using untreated manufacturing waste as fertilizer in Missouri will be on the agenda this Friday night.

Are these substances safe? Do they produce problems with odors? Do they pose environmental problems.

Friday night, State Senator Jill Carter and members of the Newton-McDonald County Cattlemen will hold a program entitled “Cultivating Change” to address the situation.

The gathering will take place Joplin Greenhouse & Coffee Shop at 2820 E. 32nd Street in Joplin.

The meeting gets underway at 6 p.m. and the public is invited.
