Council in the Park Monday, April 14 at Joplin Athletic Complex

Have you heard about a new City project in Joplin and want more information?
Or are you wondering what is being done to the road near your neighborhood? Maybe you have an idea or a suggestion and are unsure who to talk with about it. Or you’d like to meet the Council members you see when watching their meetings.
All of these are possible when you attend the next Council in the Park session on Monday, April 14.
This is not a formal council meeting; there is no agenda, and no items will be voted on. Up to three council members will be present at the Council in the Park events, to avoid having a quorum of council present, as no official city business will be decided during these events.
The next meeting in this series will be held at the Joplin Athletic Complex on April 14, 2025, from 5:45 to 7 p.m. Council members will gather under the shelter by the soccer fields on the east side of the complex.
These events provide Council members with a chance to meet and engage with the public, answering questions, listening to ideas, and addressing concerns.
Be sure to mark your calendar for the next meeting on Monday, July 14, at Cunningham Park.
