Missouri Southern State University celebrates topping-out ceremony for Blunt Center

Joplin, MO – March 14, 2025 – Missouri Southern State University (MSSU) marked a significant milestone in the development of the Roy Blunt Health Science Innovation Center with a special topping-out ceremony on March 14, 2025.

The event, attended by Missouri Governor Mike Kehoe, celebrated the completion of the building’s structural framework.

The Roy Blunt Health Science Innovation Center, set to open its doors in the summer of 2026, will provide cutting-edge educational facilities designed to prepare the next generation of healthcare professionals. The center will house advanced classrooms, state-of-the-art laboratories, simulation spaces, and the latest healthcare technologies, offering students an unparalleled environment for hands-on learning and training.
