Joplin town hall to focus on Liberty Utilities billing, customer service complaints

A “Power Struggles” town hall will take place on the campus of MSSU Friday evening.
Joplin-area State Senator Jill Carter is inviting frustrated Liberty Utilities customers to an event tonight (March 7) to voice their concerns with the company’s billing issues and customer service complains.
It will take place at the Missouri Southern State University Justice Center from 6:30pm-9pm. Doors open at 6pm.
Representatives from Liberty Utility and the Missouri Office of Public Counsel will be present to address answer questions and assist residents in resolving billing disputes.
Carter says the town hall is an opportunity for residents to also learn about utility reliability, assistance and work toward real solutions with the agencies responsible.
You are encouraged to attend, ask questions, and bring your bill.
