Pyle to assume top role at Carl Junction Schools on July 1st

Dr. David Pyle will assume that job of Superintendent of Schools in Carl Junction on July 1st.

Pyle has 28 years of experience in education, most recently at CJ where he was Assistant Superintendent of Operations and High School Principal.

He’s a graduate of MSSU and PSU and received is Doctorate in Education from Southwet Baptist University.

He succeeds Dr. Philip Cook who announced his reetirement in January and will leave the district at the end of June after 20 years as superintendent.

“We are confident that Dr. Pyle will be an exceptional leader for our school district,” said Carl Junction Board of Education president Larry Cowger.

“We look forward to working closely with him as we collectively strive to provide our students the best possible educational experience,” Cowger added.
