Carthage man arrested for SD card containing explicit images of children

A man from Carthage, Missouri, is facing several felony charges after he allegedly was found in possession of explicit footage of children.

47-year-old Eugene Boone taken into custody by the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office last week after a months-long investigation.

He is now charged with four counts of Possession Of Child Pornography – 2nd/Subseq Ofns Or Possess >20.

A probable cause statement says in September, an SD card with child sexual abuse material was found in the driveway of Boone’s neighbor.

An investigation found Boone had even placed a recording device in a private bathroom.

Boone is currently being held at the Jasper County Detention Center with no bond.

The investigation is still ongoing and may produce additional charges.
