NEO to host Wrestling Coaches Association Duals
Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College in Miami, Oklahoma will host the National Junior College Athletic Association Wrestling Coaches Association Duals on Friday, January 10 and Saturday, January 12.
Competing in the duals are 19 teams from around the country representing schools in Oklahoma, Oregon, Kansas, Iowa, Illinois, Idaho, Colorado, Wyoming, Minnesota, and Nebraska.
“We are excited to host the 2025 NJCAA National Dual Tournament again this year, it has always been a great event,” said NEO Wrestling coach Joe Renfro. “It’s always good to see who is out there and what our performance is comparatively. We don’t get a chance to see teams from all over the country except until the National Tournament, so getting an early preview while not having to travel is a nice bonus.”
The competition will take place in the NEO Gym and Student Activity Center beginning at 9am on both days. Admission is $5.
Friday consists of pool wrestling to decide seeding for the advance team tournament, which begins Saturday. Final matches Saturday evening will determine top placings.
A live stream will be available on the NEO Athletics website. http://neoathletics.com/watch
