Parsons resident, two juveniles, face charges in Labette County

On December 17th, Parsons Police Detectives, acting on tips from the public and multiple surveillance angles, were able to identify a lead for a person of interest.

This lead was followed up and detectives were then able to develop suspects. The suspects were questioned, and evidence was located to link the suspects to the robbery.

One of the three suspects was identified as Warren Lane Jungles, 18 years old of Parsons. The other two suspects were identified but they are juveniles. Jungles was arrested and is facing charges of Aggravated Robbery and Contributing to a Child’s Misconduct.

The two juveniles were also arrested and transported to Girard Juvenile Detention Center. They are both facing charges of Aggravated Robbery.

Parsons Police Lieutenant Detective Sherri McGuire said “I am impressed with the way Detectives Adamson and Gilliland took this case and ran with it. Given the limited information that was available from the start they were able to develop leads and gather information with the help of the community to make significate arrests. This is not some low-level crime that took place it is a serious felony crime. We are lucky that the victim had minor injuries and that the crime didn’t escalate any further.”

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. If anyone has any further information on this incident or any other criminal activity, please contact the Parsons Police Department at 421-7060 or call the Tip Line at 421-7057 or email at tips@parsonspdks.gov.
