Ceremony slated for new Freeman Neosho Physical Therapy facility

Freeman Health System will break ground for a new physical therapy building on the Freeman Neosho Hospital campus Wednesday morning.

Groundbreaking will take place at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 4th.

The ceremony will take place in the lot behind Freeman Neosho Hospital’s helipad parking lot fronting W. McKinney and S. Wood Streets

Freeman President and Chief Executive Officer Paula Baker, accompanied by other Freeman officials, will don hard hats and grab golden shovels to officially launch the state-of-the-art building’s construction on a lot located behind the hospital.

Upon completion, the 8,300-square-foot building will house physical, occupational and speech therapy departments and state-of-the-art technology, including an aquatic therapy pool and strength training equipment. It will also feature five private treatment rooms and a large gymnasium.

Building renderings will be on display and interviews will be available after the ceremony.
