KT Tunstall entertains as CPKC Holiday Train rolls into Joplin
The Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) Holiday Train rolled into Joplin and, before that, Pittsburg, Sunday afternoon.
Each show featured a half-hour live concert by musical artists American Authors and Scottish singer/songwriter, KT Tunstall.
An enthusiastic crowd of children and adults turned out to hear Tunstall perform her hits “Black Horse and a Cherry Tree,” “Suddenly, I See,” along with holiday favorites “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” and “Run, Run, Rudolph.”
Those attending the Holiday Train show were encouraged to bring a donation of cash or a non-perishable food item for the local food bank.
All donations stay local to help feed those in need in the community, and the food bank will have a station set up at each site to collect donations.
