Thanksgiving Holiday travel weekend starts Wednesday

Holiday travel is going to be busy from Wednesday through Sunday this week.  

Missouri State Highway Patrol Corporal Samuel Carpenter told Newstalk KZRG one of the things you need to do to stay safe. 

“You can’t get in a hurry on holiday travel weekends because traffic’s just not going to allow it.  And then if you’re trying to get in a hurry, that tends to lead to road rage incidents and following too close, which is a major contributor to crashes, so give yourself extra time.”
