Application cycle opens for rural workforce grant
Applications are being accepted for Missouri’s Rural Access to Capital Tax Credit Program.
The program promotes workforce development and capital investment in rural Missouri by providing incentives for investment.
It aims to encourage private investment in rural businesses that could otherwise struggle to access resources.
Eligible rural funds must have money invested in at least 100-million-dollars in non-public companies located in counties with a population UNDER 50-thousand people, and at least 30-million in Missouri companies.
State Senator-elect Kurtis Gregory, of Marshall, sponsored the bill to create the program.
