Pickup hits John Deere tractor on Highway 86

A collision between a pickup truck and a John Deere tractor injured one person on Highway 86 a mile west of Newtonia just after 7 p.m. last night.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a Toyota Tacoma driven by 51 year-old Dang. H. Her of Owasso Oklahoma hit the tractor from the rear.

The tractor driver and the driver of the car was not injured. A passenger in the pickup truck, 54-year-old Lee Thao suffered minor injuries. She was taken to Mercy Joplin hospital.
