Chiefs Chairman Clark Hunt offers update on where the team stands with stadium options

Chief’s chairman Clark Hunt offered an update on where the team stands with their stadium options.  

“We’re hopeful that by the spring we’ll have some direction. I certainly don’t expect to have anything finalized by that point. But I’d like to know the direction that we’re headed in that time frame.”  

Everything was put back on the table after Jackson County voted down extending a tax that would have kept the Chief’s at Arrowhead.

Hunt says that is still an option.  

“That we’ve been looking at a lot of sites on both the Kansas and Missouri sides, as well as talking to the political leaders in Missouri about perhaps renovating Arrowhead.”
