518lbs of marijuana seized in northeast Oklahoma illegal growing operation
518 pounds of marijuana seized in northeast Oklahoma.
The Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics served two separate search warrants Tuesday morning in Nowata County.
Investigators confiscated 21,360 marijuana plants and arrests are expected to come in the near future.
“This morning’s operation is part of an ongoing investigation by OBN into these farms for obtaining their OBN Registrations by fraud, using ‘straw ownership’ schemes,” said OBN Spokesman Mark Woodward.
OBN’s Marijuana Enforcement Teams (MET) this morning serving Search Warrants simultaneously at JC King Garden, LLC. (21477 US Highway 60, Nowata, OK) and Zebra M Growers, LLC (13236 John Deere Road, South Coffeyville, Nowata County).
