Anderson woman given life sentence for fatally shooting husband
Life in prison without parole was the sentence given to 50-year-old Dawn Wynn, of Anderson, Missouri.
In November of 2021, she shot and killed her husband, Harold Wynn, while he was asleep in their camper.
Court documents say deputies arrived at the camper, west of Anderson, to find Harold dead from a gunshot wound to the head.
During sentencing, Wynn continued to maintain that Harold committed suicide, but investigators say the facts were clear and that she did not show any remorse for her actions.
