Webb City area power outage

Liberty Utilities reported a power outage Saturday morning in the Webb City area starting around 7:30.

Reports say the outage was caused by a transformer fire at a substation.  

Firefighters were able to put out the fire.  

The outage affected just over 1500 customers according to Liberty Utilities.
