Boil Advisory issued for part of Seneca Water System
A boil advisory has been issued for a section of the City of Seneca.
Any water used for drinking, cooking and for brushing teeth should be boiled prior to use.
Paul Carver of the Seneca Public Works Department says the advisory affects all connections south of the railroad tracks on the south side of Seneca.
Carver says teams are working on a break in the water main as of Sunday morning.
Once the break is fixed, water samples will be tested by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources.
When the samples are given the all clear from the Department the Advisory will be lifted
