McDonald County custodian accused of filming girls in high school locker room
A custodian within the McDonald County School District has been arrested and charged after he allegedly placed a hidden camera in the girls locker room at the high school.
53-year-old Rodger Copeland, of Neosho, was arrested Friday on allegations of invasion of privacy, sexual exploitation of a child and non consensual dissemination of private sexual images.
The School District says the camera was immediately removed and handed over to law enforcement, who are now actively investigating the matter.
“However, please know that we are taking this situation very seriously and are committed to the safety and privacy of all our students,” said the R-1 School District.
Copeland is being held in the McDonald County jail without bond.
