According to the F-B-I, nationwide crime rates are down.
Neosho state representative Ben Baker tells Newstalk KZRG why he believes the crime rates are not higher.:
“One of the reasons why is the Biden and Harris administration, they changed the reporting mandate to an opt-in for some of this. Well, the worst cities don’t want to opt-in, of course, because politically, it makes them look bad. But the truth is this, murders are actually up 23% across 70 different cities, since 2019 Milwaukee, for instance, the FBI reported a 13% decrease in robberies, but the Milwaukee police reported a 7% increase”
