Accident on Missouri 171 north of Webb City injures man from Carl Junction

There was an accident on Missouri 171 north of Locust Road 3 miles north of Webb City a little after 3 p.m. on Tuesday.

The Highway Patrol says a Chevy Tahoe driven by 52-year-old Scott W. Souders of Carl Junction….. hit a a Toyota Tundra driven by 49-year-old Todd M. Murglia of Webb City.

Souders had moderate injuries.

He went by private vehicle to Mercy-Joplin Hospital.

Murglia was not injured.

The patrol says both drivers were wearing safety devices.
