Joplin’s Third Thursday this week

Downtown Joplin is going to have a festival going on Thursday night.

According to Kristina with the Downtown Joplin Alliance:  

“It’s our biggest Third Thursday of the year.  MSSU is our sponsor and we’re turning the streets green and gold to welcome back all the students. We’ll have the marching band and the cheerleaders and the wildlife people will be here with their snakes and all their animals, and the crime scene van will be there.”

Third Thursday runs from 7th Street north on Main to 1st Street starting at 5:30 PM running until 8:30 PM.
