Missouri American Water to hold ribbon cutting for new high service pump station

Missouri American Water will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony this Friday, Sept. 6th for its new high service pump station which was completed late last year.

The event will take place Friday morning during the Joplin Chamber of Commerce “Morning Brew” event which Missouri American is hosting.

The Missouri American Water Treatment Plant located at 1118 West 21^st Street in Joplin

The new high service pump station replaces the previous pre-1900 high service pump station.

The station pumps water from the treatment plant to the community and is critical in providing reliable water service to patrons in the Joplin area.
