Bartlesville man indicted by Federal Grand Jury for multiple offenses
A man from Bartlesville, Oklahoma has been indicted by a Grand Jury in the Northern District of Oklahoma.
41-year-old Jerico Lee Redell, a member of the Cherokee Nation, is charged with possessing a firearm and ammunition, knowing he was previously convicted of felonies.
He allegedly kidnapped two different victims, intentionally assaulted them with a dangerous weapon, and used a firearm in a crime of violence. Additionally, Reddell is charged with obstructing a federal Grand Jury investigation and conspiring with someone else to tamper with a witness.
Specific charges against Redell include:
- Felon in Possession of a Firearm and Ammunition (Count 1);
- Kidnapping in Indian Country (Counts 2, 5 & 8);
- Assault with a Dangerous Weapon with Intent to do Bodily Harm in Indian Country (Counts 3, 6 & 9);
- Carrying, Using, and Brandishing a Firearm During and in Relation to a Crime of Violence (Count 4 & 7);
- Witness Tampering (Counts 10 & 11) and;
- Conspiracy to Obstruct Justice by Witness Tampering (Count 12) (superseding).
The FBI, Tulsa Police Department, and Bartlesville Police Department are the investigative agencies.
