Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office looking for Matthew Myers of Galena

Law enforcement attempted to arrest 50 year-old Matthew Myers, in the 2900 block of South Wood in Galena, Sunday afternoon.

Myers resisted arrest then fled into a wooded area. Law enforcement continues to search the area.

Myers is wanted on outstanding warrants for Aggravated Sexual Battery and Aggravated Domestic Violence.

The 50-year-old Myers is 5’9″ tall, weighs 200 lbs. and has brown hair and blue eyes.
