17-year-old suffers serious injuries in Cedar County accident

A 17-year-old boy from Eldorado Springs driving a Ford F-150 pickup suffered serious injuries in a one-vehicle crash around 11:47 Friday night on Highway 32, about a mile and a half west of Stockton in Cedar County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says it happened when the juvenile’s westbound pickup traveled off the left side of the road, struck a stop sign and overturned.

He was not wearing a safety device.

He was transferred by Cox Aircare to Cox South Hospital in Springfield.
